The academic year at a glance
Semester Timeline
- Registration — first two weeks of the semester
- Teaching — weeks 1 to 14
- Mid-semester examinations — week 7
- Revision — week 14
- End-of-semester examinations — weeks 15 and 16
- Results release — within four weeks
Semester Dates
The academic year runs across three intakes — January, May and September — giving students flexibility in when they begin and pace their studies.
